Team Notes:
● Rick Ware Racing’s No. 15 entry will have 28-year-old Joey Gase behind the wheel with
sponsorship from Donate Life Nevada. It will mark Gase’s 11th NASCAR Cup Series
start of the 2021 season and seventh in the No. 15. Gase has six starts at the Nevada
track.
● Cody Ware will pilot the Nurtec ODT (rimegepant) No. 51 for his 26th NCS start of the
season and his third start at Las Vegas.
● Driving the Keep It Secure No. 52, Josh Bilicki will make his 65th NCS start and 30th of
the 2021 season. Bilicki has two previous NCS starts at the 1.5-mile track.
● RWR teammate Garrett Smithley is also set to make his 65th career start in the NCS on
Sunday. When Smithley takes the green flag in the Red Line Synthetic Oil machine in
Sunday’s 267-lap South Point 400, it will be his fourth Vegas start.

● The final race of the 2021 NTT IndyCar Series season is scheduled for this weekend on
the streets of Long Beach. Romain Grosjean will drive the No. 51 Dale Coyne Racing
with Rick Ware Racing Nurtec ODT (rimegepant) Honda for the final time, marking his
13th career start in the series and the conclusion of his first foray in the series. Grosjean
has three podium results on the year thus far.

● Fresh off a win at Flamboro Speedway, Rick Ware Racing driver Andrew Ranger will be
looking to score his second victory of the year in the Nurtec ODT (rimegepant) No. 51 at
Delaware Speedway in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series. Ranger has a best finish of fourth
(2012) in three starts at the short track. This year, Ranger has collected four top-five
finishes, including his victory at Flamboro and two runner-up results.
● Alex Guenette has one start at Delaware which came back in 2013. Three more starts will
be added this weekend as Guenette and his Motos Illimitees/DLGL.com team take on the
half-mile oval. Guenette has amassed one top-five and five top-10 finishes in seven starts
this season.
