● Garrett Smithley, a Pennsylvania native, will pilot Rick Ware Racing’s No. 15 boom!
MOBILE entry on Sunday at Martinsville Speedway. The 29-year-old driver has three
career Cup starts at the Virginia short track and 26 starts so far this season.
● Cody Ware will drive the Nurtec ODT (rimegepant) No. 51 for the 500-lap race
scheduled on Halloween. Over the span of his young career in the Cup Series, Ware has
started two races at the track dubbed the “Paperclip.”
● For the penultimate race of the 2021 season, Josh Bilicki is set to power the Insurance
King No. 52 at Martinsville. Since the onset of his career in the NCS, Bilicki has made
two starts at the facility.
● Joey Gase, Adkins Automotive and Donate Life Virginia are headed to Virginia with the
No. 53 RWR entry. Sunday’s Xfinity 500 will mark Gase’s 15th NCS start of the season
and fifth at Martinsville.

● JJ Yeley returns to the cockpit of the RWR No. 17 this weekend at the 0.526-mile short
track. Yeley will drive the Alcova Mortgage machine as he makes his 350th start in the
NASCAR Xfinity Series. It will be his 15th of the season. The veteran NASCAR driver
has three NXS starts at the track with solid finishes of ninth, 14th and 24th.
