Team Notes:
● Pennsylvania native Garrett Smithley will pilot the No. 15 entry on Sunday at Texas
Motor Speedway with sponsorship from Trophy Tractor. Smithley has three NASCAR
Cup Series starts at the Fort Worth track. It will be his 25th NCS start of the season.
● Rick Ware Racing’s No. 51 machine will be driven by Cody Ware. Ware will sport the
Nurtec ODT (rimegepant) colors as he makes his first NCS start at the 1.5-mile track.
The North Carolina native has one start at the track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series,
which came in 2016.
● Josh Bilicki and Junction Fuels are set to take on No Limits, Texas, with the No. 52 RWR
team. Bilicki has three NCS starts at Texas. Sunday’s 501-mile race will mark Bilicki’s
33rd start of the 2021 season.
● The RWR No. 53 will have Joey Gase behind the wheel on Sunday for the 33rd NCS race
of the season. Explore Branson will serve as the primary partner. Gase has made 12 starts
in the NCS this season and as he makes his 13th on Sunday, it will mark his sixth start at
Texas.

● JJ Yeley will make his 349th NASCAR Xfinity Series start on Saturday when he straps
into the DFW Security No. 17. It will be his 14th of the season. Over the course of
Yeley’s NXS career, the Arizona native has made 22 starts at Texas. He has one top-10
finish and eight top-20 finishes.
NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series
Event Name: NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals

dragster at the 3,800-foot drag strip.
