Team Notes:
● For the final event on the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, Garrett Smithley will
drive the Rick Ware Racing No. 15 this weekend at Phoenix Raceway as practice and
qualifying also return for the championship race. Smithley’s race car will feature the
colors of Carpets of Arizona. The 29-year-old driver has four starts at the Arizona track
with Sunday’s 312-mile event marking the Pennsylvania native’s 70th career start in the
NCS.
● Making his fourth start at Phoenix, Cody Ware will once again climb behind the wheel of
the Nurtec ODT (rimegepant) No. 51. Ware will sport a special paint scheme as RWR has
partnered with Nine Line Apparel and Biohaven Pharmaceuticals' Nurtec ODT
(rimegepant) to pay tribute and honor the upcoming 80th Anniversary of the Attack on
Pearl Harbor. The 25-year-old driver has 31 starts under his belt this year in the NCS.
● Completing his first full-time season in the NCS this weekend at Phoenix, Josh Bilicki
will have the boom! MOBILE livery adorning his No. 52 machine. The Wisconsin native
has two starts at the 1-mile track.
● Joey Gase, driver of the No. 53 RWR entry, is set to make his 16th NCS start of the
season on Sunday. It will mark his eighth start at Phoenix. Donate Life Arizona will be on
board for the 312-lap season finale.

● Joe Graf Jr. will start his 65th career NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday night
when he straps into the Model Electronics No. 17 at Phoenix Raceway for the final event
of the 2021 season. The New Jersey native has three starts at the track located in
Avondale, Arizona.
